Golden Swedes ride high at last

Sweden tops our final Power Rankings of 2017 after its thrilling 2-1 shootout win over Canada in the gold medal game. Russia is third. See you next year!

2.  Canada  Canada:  Shootouts + Swedes = bad news
3.  Russia  Russia:  Comrade Yzerman and the Tampa Politburo congratulate you!
4.  Finland  Finland:  2016 was better, apart from all the dead celebrities
5.  USA United States:  We need to get younger
6.  Suisse  Switzerland:  Obviously, William Tell had a tough tournament
7.  Czech  Czech Republic:  Wanna watch some old Robert Reichel highlights?
8.  Germany  Germany:  Well, we tried...now, getting back to Bayern Munich...
